Competition Final - First Prize
Students from the winning team will receive a five-day work experience week, hosted by Christopher Basten, a 6-piece Global Knife set and the coveted winners plaque. They will also receive gold medals and framed certificates courtesy of final hosts, ScotHot.
Competition Final - Second & Third Prizes
Students from the second placed team will each receive a 3-Piece Global Knife set, along with silver medals and framed certificates courtesy of ScotHot.
Students from the third placed team will each receive a Global Knife, along with bronze medals and framed certificates courtesy of ScotHot.
All Competition Finalists
Each member of the 7 teams competing in the final will receive a chef’s jacket, certificate and a years free student/trainee membership to the Craft Guild of Chefs. Each team will be entitled to a maximum of £600 in travel expenses.
Regional Heats
Each team member from the regional heat winning teams, along with the two (2) runner’s up, will receive a Wild Harvest food hamper, fully stocked with some of the finest ingredients from around the world. Students from all the teams that qualify for the heats will receive 25% discount on student/trainee membership rates to the Craft Guild of Chef’s and a competition certificate.
Paper Judging
Successful entrants will qualify for the Regional Heat.
Lecturer Prizes
Lecturers of each team that qualifies for the competition final will receive a bottle of champagne and an embroidered chef’s jacket.
