Dairy products such as milk, cheese and cream are important in any diet, mainly for calcium essential for healthy teeth and bones. These foods appear in starters, main courses and desserts but they can be fatty with a lot of saturated fat so try to use lower fat versions such as semi skimmed or 1% milk, low fat yogurts and single or whipping cream.
